Executive Search Candidates (Director level)

Summit Search is research driven. We find potential candidates through our extensive network of market contacts, personal recommendations and online/industry specific publication research.

As a potential candidate for one of our retained assignments, you will be contacted discreetly and confidentially, for an initial discussion. If the role is suitable and of interest, we will then send you a detailed Assignment Briefing Document (in confidence). In return we request a copy of your CV (again in confidence). Once received and, if applicable, our Lead Consultant will contact you privately to gather further information and invite you for a formal interview at our offices.

If you are then selected as a ‘short listed’ candidate we will organise for you to meet with the client. Throughout this process we will remain in regular contact with you, not only keeping you well informed at every stage but also providing constructive guidance and advice.

Advertised Selection Candidates (Associate to VP level)

Summit Selection identifies candidates through referrals, marketing and advertising. Candidates who register on our database are assessed by one of our consultants to identify their core strengths and to understand their career ambitions. This is conducted through an initial telephone conversation and face-to-face meeting either at our offices or at a location more convenient to yourself.

You can register on our database by confidentially submitting your CV and details. Once this process is complete, we will then be in a position to match your profile to potential roles and alert you to suitable opportunities as and when they arise.

Commitment to our Candidates

For our candidates Summit will:

  • Treat all personal details and correspondence confidentially
  • Contact you discreetly in relation to suitable career opportunities
  • Discuss your career ambitions to help you achieve your personal goals
  • Provide a high quality Assignment Briefing Document with detailed information on the client’s vacancy, company profile and team structure
  • Allow you to make your own decision without pressure or bias

For our candidates Summit will not:

  • Send your CV or divulge your name to a client without your prior consent
  • Try to ‘shoe-horn’ you into a job if it is not the right opportunity for you
  • Pressure you. Summit will allow you to make your own decision in your own time without pressure or bias
  • Hassle you; if you are not interested in the opportunity presented then we respect that
  • Change your CV. The CV presented to us will be the CV presented to the client.
