Following an organisational restructure, our institutional client needed to hire a Head of Retail Asset Management based in London. The role required a candidate with at least 10 years post-MRICS asset management experience and an established retail market profile, with extensive retailer contacts. In addition, the appointee would need strong leadership capabilities as the role involved heading up a large, diverse team.
Summit managed an extensive Executive Search process which involved targeting senior level retail professionals within the UK market including landlords (FM, PropCo), advisory firms and retailers. The short listed candidates were then asked to complete a Personal Profile Analysis (PPA) assessment, which provided objective feedback on their preferred leadership and communication style. This feedback, accompanied by in-depth notes from the Lead Consultant, enabled the client to appoint their chosen candidate with complete confidence.
