Running 20 partnerships, mandates and funds, LGIMRA are one of the most active institutional fund managers in the UK offering adept asset management experience and exceptional access across all markets, sectors and UK locations.

LGIMRA’s most ambitious target is to invest over £1bn each year in long term indexed linked property investments.

Focused around surety of income, LGIMRA will seek to acquire assets or portfolios worth more than £40m and let to secure covenants on minimum 20-year lease terms. This target has led to the requirement of a Senior Transactions Manager who will provide additional resource and focus on working with the Head of Annuity Transactions to source suitable assets to meet the Annuity Fund requirements.

The Role

  • Seek out and create investment opportunities on a UK-wide basis, including sale and leasebacks, pre-let development, income strips and ground lease deals
  • Provide thorough analysis of transactions which meet the Annuity Fund requirements, compile purchase reports and present suitable acquisition proposals to the Investment Committee
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with agents and property owners to source both on and off-market deals

The Profile

  • Graduate and MRICS qualified with a proven track record in commercial real estate investment, including development funding knowledge/experience
  • Performance driven with a flair for negotiating and closing complex, structured transactions which involve financing, JV partner deals and sale and leasebacks
  • Strong external profile and presence with excellent market knowledge and contacts, ideally across all sectors of UK commercial property.
